technology jobs and start changing the world. Specializing in science, technology and career-
based programs designed to get people into the workforce quickly and affordably. Their goal is
to educate and tool the masses to fill the multitude of quality tech-based jobs that are currently
open and projected to grow in the coming years. This will not only help individuals and families
sustain financial stability, but also help spur innovation and growth in business and
government.
Woz ED Pathway Schools and Districts make a strong commitment to multiple Pathways and
access for all students. These dedicated learning environments benefit from signage to build
community awareness of the STEM learning opportunities they offer, positively impacting
enrollment. Steve Wozniak personally inducts each Pathway School and District each year in
Arizona at their Fall Convening.
McNary Elementary School District will be inducted this November at the 2022 Woz ED
Pathway Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona. Representing McNary will be their new
Superintendent, Dr. Gregory Fowler.
In less than two months of starting at McNary Elementary School District, Dr. Gregory Fowler
has already achieved Woz ED Pathway Status for this school. He is bringing all 10 Woz ED Career
Pathways to his K-8 students for the 2022-2023 school year. This includes coding, cybersecurity,
drones, engineering, mobile development, animation, data science, AR/VR, robotics, and
artificial intelligence.
These programs are designed to inspire students to stay motivated, engaged, and learn new
things by enhancing the classroom experience and applying concepts in a deeper, more
thorough way. The resources are open-ended and adaptable, making them accessible
to children of all levels of ability and encouraging a more process-focused and student-
centered experience.
